Holes for sockets in brick, aerated concrete, concrete are often made with carbide or, as they are often called, carbide crowns. Such crowns can only work in impact mode, with perforation. Working with impact is an extremely undesirable condition for both the construction site and a person:

- impact loads introduce microcracks into the walls, reduce their load-bearing capacity, destroy the drill itself - the teeth fall out;

- impacts often lead to displacement of holes, into which it is then difficult to install the socket block;

- vibrations negatively affect the operator himself, his health;

- and the drilling speed with a hard alloy crown is lower than the drilling speed with diamond, especially when it comes to concrete.

The Krone PRO diamond drill for sockets is an excellent alternative to hard alloy crowns. Drilling with such a crown is soft and productive. The load on the operator's hands is minimal, it is a pleasure to work!
