Work Suits: jacket with trousers or bib pants

Work Suits

A detailed buying guide: how to choose a work suit.

A work suit is a jacket and trousers or a jacket and bib-pants set for builders, mechanics, electricians and warehouse staff. Suits differ in fabric, number of pockets, knee reinforcement and reflective details. General guide: how to choose workwear, protective and high-visibility clothing.

What to consider when choosing a work suit

Set contents

A suit with trousers suits everyday wear, while one with bib pants protects the back better when bending or kneeling.

Fabric weight

A summer suit is 180-220 g/m² and an all-season one 240-280 g/m². Heavier fabric lasts longer but is warmer.

Reinforcement and pockets

Tradespeople value knee-pad pockets, tool pockets and reinforced shoulders.

Size and height

Suit size is given by chest and height, for example 52-54/182-188.

Marking and standard

Check the label: standard (EN ISO), protection class, size and manufacturing date. Read how to read PPE markings, standards and replacement requirements.

Care and replacement

Wash at 40-60 °C without bleach so the reflective details are not damaged.

At ToolsArmenia you can choose work suits by set contents, fabric, season and size.
