Welding Electrodes: rutile, basic and tungsten electrodes

Rutile electrodes strike easily and suit beginners, while basic electrodes give strong welds on critical structures.

2.5 mm electrodes suit 2-4 mm metal (60-90 A), 3.2 mm suit 4-8 mm (90-130 A).

Choose E308 electrodes for stainless steel and nickel electrodes for cast iron.

Keep electrodes sealed and bake basic electrodes at 250-350 °C before use.
