One unit replaces both a standalone power plant and a welding machine and works with 1.6-4.0 mm electrodes. Electric and recoil start, an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) and wheels make it practical on construction sites and in the field.
TOTAL TP446001 combines a 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase generator with an MMA arc welding machine. It is powered by a 418 cc, 9 HP, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled diesel engine with a rated speed of 3000 rpm. The copper-coil alternator, class F insulation and automatic voltage regulator (AVR) deliver stable output voltage, while the AC circuit breaker protects against overload. Welding current is adjustable from 50 to 180 A with a 60% duty cycle at 180 A, and the unit works with 1.6-4.0 mm electrodes. In addition to the 230 V socket there is a 12 V, 8.3 A DC output, and the 15 L tank is designed for long autonomous operation. The engine is started electrically from the 30 Ah maintenance-free battery or with the recoil starter.
